Emergency Relief

The Middle East is plagued with wars and conflicts. In times of strife, Children’s Relief Bethlehem moves to assist the children and mothers who are affected.

Examples of relief campaigns:

• During the Gaza War of 2008-09, Children’s Relief Bethlehem assisted in supplying medicines to hospitals in the Gaza Strip. In addition, Caritas Baby Hospital provided clinics in the crisis area with one ultrasound unit, five infusion pumps and general medical supplies.
• During the Lebanon war of 2006, Children’s Relief Bethlehem worked closely with the Pontifical Mission for Palestine in bringing relief to internally displaced persons.
