For Children and Mothers

Children’s Relief Bethlehem is committed to the health and well-being of children and their mothers. It supports and manages the Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem, which since 1952 has been giving medical care to any child in need, irrespective of religion, nationality or social origins. Children’s Relief Bethlehem uses a comprehensive care approach, pupposefully integrating the mothers into its caregiving.

In accordance with its By-laws, Children’s Relief Bethlehem endeavours:

• To develop and ensure the provision of healthcare at the Caritas Baby Hospital, as well as in the Mother’s School, the School of Nursing and social work;
• To support projects for children, mothers and families outside Bethlehem as well;
• To provide disaster relief – in cases such as war.
